I loved reading over the "Student Revision Toolbox" as there are some very important tools that all students can learn to learn. Being a teacher with Dyslexia I would have chosen #1 notes to recorder, #3 Mind map topic, #5 Cheat cards by putting key points and #11 Draw diagram / pictures with notes in order to be successful in the learning process.
I also liked#15 Making notes to pass onto other students to help each other in a collective group. #23 Post note on the forehead sounds fun and you can learn while having fun.and asking questions. #31 Making Snakes and Ladders games would also be a fun way to learn. #37 is always a favorite of my by using the Flip chart to write, draw your information, this way it is big and you visually can see it and make it your own. #41 Who wants to be a Millionaire? everyone one wants to be a millionaire, this game would rock and as the student gets the correct answer the prizes get bigger, such as a free time etc.
Golden Rule- #54 Don't revise to long of periods of time as you will get burnt out and you will not learn anything but be tired and blank.
I really enjoyed this took kit.
Natalie Gloade
