Created for a LA Year 5 numeracy group, can be easily adapted. They are the manager of a hotel and their computers have gone down. They have to work out the calculation for each celebrity guest to identify the room number they are staying in. A fun alternative to a page full of questions.

A good starting block. LA document is presented differently, so is more suited to number line work (I was using this for column subtraction).
Excellent resource. Makes it much more fun for the children and can be used for all levels of Y5. Cheers
