Some example/problem pair questions I’ve made to practice using the kinematics equations for GCSE Maths. The pupils don’t need to remember the equations for GCSE Maths but they are expected to be able to use them. First three slides are substitution into the equations and then a couple of changing the subject slides. Suitable for Foundation and Higher.

Examples for you to do on one side, questions for the pupils on the other. On notebook file click on square to reveal answer to pupil questions. I’ve only introduced units after a couple of examples each time.

No contextual questions, just the maths.

Thanks for uploading to TES! This will give some basic scaffolding for teachers teaching this sort of thing for the first time. Encouraging to see problem pairs!
