Children investigate a statement: All regular 2D shapes/polygons have the same number of lines of symmetry as they do sides/edges This is the supporting powerpoint and worksheets for a bottom set Y3/4 class - children draw the shape, note the number of sides and lines of symmetry, then feedback to complete class chart during plenary. (Note: the rectangle will NOT follow the pattern, as it is classed as an irregular quadrilateral)
