Short Fuse is a regular event in Brighton and Leicester which showcases local writers reading their work onstage for a paying audience and judging panel. Co-founders Polly Tuckett and Tara Gould (and other participants like author Jeff Noon) explain why reading aloud is useful for writers, why the short story form is important, and provide advice for aspiring writers.
