Talk 4 Writing - Story Writing Unit - 15 Lessons

This 5-week, 15 lesson Writing Unit uses the Talk for Writing model to walk you and your learners through the whole story writing process from start to finish.
This pack includes all the resources you will need AND gives you detailed Teacher Notes for each lesson so that you can take learners on an exciting and successful writing journey. You will never find teaching writing easier or more enjoyable!

This Unit will take your learners through four key stages:
Exploration: What do they know already about this genre?
Imitation: Learn to re-tell the model text from start to finish.
Innovation: Adapt the model text with their own ideas.
Execution: Plan & write their own version.

This writing unit works best for Primary 2 and 3 learners and can also be effective for Primary 4 as well (Years 1-3, 6 to 9 years old).
