As part of my teaching, I try to have one 1 to 1 meeting a year with students, or following major tests.
Students and I discuss the targets and what they have done well, as well as what they need to do to 'move to the next level’
This is very good for parents evening and spotting patters, as well as getting students to reflect on their own learning.
