Tasks to prepare for writing controlled assessment

A series of tasks to prepare for a controlled writing assessment, once they've written their draft. I&'m not in favour of them trying to learn it off by heart, I want to use it as an opportunity to build up language skills rather than an exercise in memorising a load of text. The activities are therefore aimed at helping them identify mistakes & build up a bank of key vocab/grammar to rely on when doing any writing or speaking, whether an assessment or otherwise. If your school doesn&';t have Linguascope, I'm sure you can find something to substitute for the task on the final slide.
