Two ICT vocabulary and spelling worksheets in this free 10-page sample from Ten-minute Literacy Activities for ICT, for KS3.
New ICT Words 1 asks students to define byte, cartridge, CD-ROM, disk, megabyte and memory, identify stressed syllables and parts of speech, and distinguish disk from disc. Look, Say, Cover, Write, Check 1 practises spelling the same words and representing them with symbols.
The sample also includes the title, introduction, contents, ICT and literacy guidance, spelling techniques and the first section’s keyword page. Provide suitable dictionaries. These short activities can be used as starters, homework or practice; individual lesson plans are not part of this pack.
The full 70-page PDF contains 50 worksheets, games and puzzles with guidance and selected answers across ICT vocabulary areas.
The preview images illustrate the full pack and include pages beyond this sample. This is the original 2002 resource, including older technology vocabulary and historical Framework references, without a claim of current Computing curriculum alignment.
