This powerpoint is aimed at helping students understand the difficult concept of terminal velocity.

It helps students visualize the force vectors and how they change and it connects resultant force to acceleration.
It includes what happens to the drag and weight forces, the resultant force, the acceleration and the velocity of a person who steps off a high cliff, including when a parachute is opened.
It includes the velocity-time graph and connects the gradient to the acceleration.
The final slide summarises it all by animating the drag, weight and resultant force vector arrows together with the velocity vector before and after the parachute is opened.
It goes in stages so the teacher can emphasize, explain or ask what happens next.
