Make text analysis and examples fun with this text about missing glue sticks in class. We have all been there, when the glue sticks seem to vanish!

This is an example of Greater Depth writing to be used with the whole class with support and analysis.

This text uses a wide range of punctuation guiding children on how to make these additions to their own writing. You will find brackets and dashes for parenthesis, hyphens, colons, subordinating clauses to begin sentences, commas, semi-colons for lists, passive voice, a range of cohesive devises amongst other examples. Children will also enjoy hunting out the glue puns, showing that we can have fun in our creativity when writing.
