This lesson explores the American War of Independence from 1776 to 1777 and focuses on who was to blame for the British defeat in 1777. The lesson includes the following activities; pair discussion starter, living graph activity, the creation of a propaganda newspaper/letter or postcard/graphic organiser, and a judgement question plenary.
