This is a lesson on the military strategy utilised by both the American and British sides in during 1776. It also explores what the strengths and weaknesses were of each side. The lesson includes the following activities; ranking table, a summary flowchart, loyalist pie chart, the creation of a diary entry/journal or newspaper article/letter/graphic organiser, and a judgement question plenary. This lesson includes differentiation in the form of differentiation by choice, includes timings in the notes section and lasts approximately 1hr 30mins.
