This is a resource to teach students with special needs or younger children about strangers and that they must not talk to them.
The animals go for a walk is a behavioural, imaginative social story. It takes the form of a less traditional social story, but nonetheless, deals with strangers and the fact you must not talk to them. It discusses talking to strangers in a positive way, through a combination of imaginative characters and humour. It was written for a Special Needs class, but it is applicable for younger Mainstream children. The story features two instances of ‘fart humour’ and is written with a vocabulary designed to be understood by children with moderate learning difficulties.

I have also included a social story about Strangers.
