This is part of scheme of learning for Key Stage 3 about the Cold War which looks at how Russia became communist in the first place, and puts the Cold War into its ideological context. It follows the lessons also included on the atomic bomb and capitalism and communism. It comprises of 2x1hours, and makes use of YouTube clips about the Bolshevik Revolution and communism, and there is also a resource for students to answer questions while they watch.
I have found it to be a useful lesson for online teaching.
