The Childrens Crusade
Stephen de cloyes, france, germany, children. The aim of this lesson is for students to learn the importance of synthesizing information to create historical narrative. Make a list of facts to to give to the students before hand so that everyone can answer a basic questions and then generalize, extrapolate, speculate and move into higher level thinking skills as you move through the lesson. This works well for double periods as they can spend a lot of time doing the activity at the end.
