This resource also contains twenty questions that will help your students to analyse the writer’s craft. Students will also be inspired to conclude this story, or write their own Gothic story, once having read this resource and once having undertaken the tasks. A top set year 9 class of mine wrote detailed, poignant and thought-provoking stories that were full of imagery after completing this resource.
