The name of the newspaper.
A large headline that uses a pun, alliteration or rhyme.
A subtitle which gives a bit more information.
An introduction containing the 5 W’s (Who, What, Where, When, Why).
Information about the main events presented in chronological order. Chronological order means the order in which they happen.
A picture with a caption.
Written in 3rd person and past tense.
Direct quotes from witnesses or the main character- slang, dialect words, abbreviations, sound omissions.
Written in columns
