The Iron Man - Teacher Resource Pack

These resources are to accompany the Unicorn Theatre’s production of The Iron Man, in Feb/Mar 2017.

They contain useful information about the show, as well as practical drama activities for exploring the story, before and after a visit. They could also be used by teachers who are reading the book with pupils rather than seeing the production.

We have also created a video resource, for teachers wanting to do some animation with their classes in response to The Iron Man:

Designed for teachers (and parents) to watch together with children, the film gives lots of inspiration, ideas, advice and practical tips on how to make your own paper-collage animation. Matthew demonstrates using the app ‘I Can Animate’ on an iPad – it’s really simple and accessible to use.

The film is divided into 5 sections:
