This lesson is great for KS3. Students are told their plane has crashed on an island and they must survive using their wit and words. This lessons explores persuasive writing using an imaginative and creative approach.
During this lessons learners will work in groups to survive the island.
Their first task is to describe how they would use a random item to help their survival, giving an opportunity to revise figurative language. Their next task is to write a pitch using DAFORREST. Finally they will perform their pitch to the class.
This is a great one off lesson, or can be used and blended into a lesson series.
Learners will need some previous knowlege of DAFORREST to complete the main task.
