1-Hour Lesson – Fully Interactive – Ready to Teach
Dear Colleague,
This is the fourth lesson in the Germany 1919–1945 series, focusing on the Kapp Putsch. The lesson explores its causes, events, and consequences, while helping students consolidate their knowledge through matching activities, discussion, and exam practice. Students will develop their understanding of the period and strengthen their skills in answering 4- and 8-mark exam questions with confidence.
All lessons in this series are interactively assessed and follow a consistent structure, helping students track their progress throughout the lesson.
Learning Objectives:
LO1: Understand the Putsch’s dynamics
LO2: Identify the reasons of the Putschists
LO3: Create two model exam answers (4- and 8-mark questions)
The lesson includes four progressive tasks (including two exam tasks) following Bloom’s Taxonomy to engage all learning styles. All tasks are assessed, and the lesson structure is straightforward and easy to follow, with all resources included at the end of the PowerPoint, ready to print and start.
