  1. Comprehension Sheet - This sheet asks students to draw and write about their favorite part, list five character traits that describe Lucinda, answer some questions related to story, and write about something their family celebrates on the back of the paper. *Answer Key included for this sheet. (1 page + answer key)

  2. Story Map - Students use words and/or pictures to fill in the characters, setting, beginning, middle, end, and moral of the story. (1 page)

  3. Poinsettia Acrostic Poem - Students write and decorate a poem using the word “Poinsettia”. (1 page)

  4. Poinsettia Themed Writing Paper - Use these generic papers for your own writing prompts. There are 3 versions - each with 3 types of writing lines. (9 pages).
