This is a 2 week literacy plan which I have tweaked over the years based on Roald Dahl’s The Magic Finger. It can be used in Y1, Y2, Y3, Y4. I have used it mainly with Y2. It takes the children on a whole literacy journey ending up with them writing their own extended stories. Worksheets included.

The plan is detailed and useful but not much in the way of resources. Much better resources are available for the Magic Finger and they are free. Very annoyed that I've just spent 6.50 on this.
