A two week writing unit complete with a teaching PPT and thinking sides based on the picture book The Promise by Nicola Davies. The unit focuses largely just on sentence stacking and building a narrative based on the book but will provide a good starting point for independent writing. Include SPAG taught in context with teacher models on the slides. Appropriate for KS2 although the grammar specifically targets y5/6.
