Simple lesson for KS3 pupils investigating sprint start technique. The teacher will need to demonstrate 3 contrasting sprint start techniques. The students through performance and anaylsis investigate which of the 3 techniques (lying, standing, crouch) is the most effective and why. Students need to work in small groups (3-4) and have access to stopwatch, and 10m marked out area of running track or field to carry out the investigation.

Enjoy.
