This resource has been modified and updated to incorporate the continued earthquake activity in this region of Turkey and specifically covers the second earthquake attack of 09/11/11. The powerpoint presentation is designed to offer an understanding of earthquake activity and to the disruption and effect it has on people's lives, combining CCTV images of the earthquake taking place and photographs of the devastation it caused in the region.
A pupil activity is included for the students to empathise through the medium of descriptive letter writing.
