Task suitable for KS5, S1. Another task or 'puzzle' that looks at a statistical idea in a pure mathematics kind of way. Quite hard work for all except the most able.

This is a nice activity for looking at probability distributions and expectation, it could be used to really test students understanding of the topic. This would make a nice investigative lesson, access to a computer at least in pairs would be preferable. Thank you for sharing.
