THE WATER BABIES: SELECTING RELEVANT EVIDENCE - ORANGE TRIP

This is part of the first lesson of a unit which looks at selecting information from a text. This is the differentiated ORANGE TRIP which provides a small amount of support to aid more independent learning.

Other differentiated learning trips that go with this lesson are the RED TRIP (suitable for low attainers and has more support) and GREEN TRIP (suitable for high attaining students - no support). There is also a powerpoint. All these are listed separately.

Based on the topic of Charles Kingsley's 'The Water Babies' this lesson resource (including plan) is great for those teachers who need to stray away from the English topics and create intervention groups. The basic skill of selecting information links to AQA Papers 1 and 2.

how to create an evaluative/analytical PETER response.
