Times Tables top trumps cards which must be solved mentally in order to play. Divide the cards into two sets of twelve for each player and have them face down in a pile. One player takes a card from the top of their pile and chooses a statistic to read out (e.g. strength: 81) and if that statistic is higher than their opponent’s card they win that player’s card and place both their original and the card they have won to the bottom of their pile. If the statistics are identical both player’s cards are put to one side and the next round continues as normal, except that if a player wins that hand they win all the cards so far. The winner is the first player to collect all the cards.

This resource is intended for lower KS2 as a times tables refresher but has been popular across year groups due to the superhero theme.

The cards are easy to cut and print and cover the 12, 11, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5 and 4 times tables. Laminate for the best results!
