I thought it would be a good idea to share a timetable that I use regularly that I got praised for by Moderators. It shows a brief outline of the learning objective (related, in my case, to EYFS early learning goals), any recap and any intro/recap. Hope it is useful.

Useful and concise - clearly laid out too, and helps to ensure you include everything e.g the recap, activity & LO. cheers

Yes. Yes sometimes I will change the timetable or quite simply ignore something on it in order to be flexible for the children's learning.

E.g. we were set to do science, but we ended up talking at fruit time talking about making a rocket to look out from space. We scrapped science and spent the afternoon making a rocket with boxes, etc.

But yes, I provide this timetable with my TA every week as well as the cover teacher for my NQT/PPA day.

Glad it helps.

less paperwork - good idea. this is a good idea and straight forward for TAs and other adults to read. Do the periods change each week to allow for flexibility?
