A step by step guide to speaking and writing about yourself in French. Suitable for beginners or as a refresher for intermediate users. Complete with an audio track, students begin by reviewing the key vocabulary and phrases to introduce themselves, listening and reading an example and then planning and preparing their own written piece and conversation responses. This method will help students grow in confidence by engaging in deep learning. The steps include think-pair-share as well as activities to learn how to build a logical piece of writing. Teachers could award XPs to students for completing each step until the final challenge of speaking and writing about themselves off by heart.
