Based on the interim assessment framework for Science, this tracking document is designed for pupils and teachers to use together to identify where children are emerging, developing or have embedded each objective from the framework. Each area is colour coded for ease of use and the chunky objectives have been broken down. Once an objective has been taught, pupils can self assess and teachers can add their own judgement. I held a competition to design a front cover for my own school to engage the pupils in using it.
