Mrs Pratchett Comes to School
In his autobiography, ‘Boy’, Roald Dahl writes about the time Mrs Pratchett, the sweet shop owner, comes to school to identify the children who had left a dead mouse in a sweet jar in her shop.
Read the dialogue and then write the scene as a script.
Could also be used for speaking and listening activities.
