A full Transition Year Creative Writing module designed to help students build confidence, experiment with ideas and enjoy writing in a low-pressure, creative way.
This module guides students through a range of creative writing activities, including freewriting, six-word stories, “show, don’t tell”, sensory description, character creation, dialogue, setting, atmosphere, plot, perspective and writing from images or songs.
It is ideal for TY classes because it encourages students to take risks, develop their own voice and build a portfolio of original writing.
