A delicious vegan dessert!

Ingredients list:

PASTRY (9 inch baking tin)
250g plain flour
75g icing sugar
110g vegan butter or margarine
salt
cold water

FILLING
295g of golden syrup
1 slice of bread or bread crumbs
lemon juice or lemon

  1. Sieve icing sugar into the flour
    2.Add the butter and rub it into the dry ingredients
  2. Add a little water and form a dough
  3. Weigh the golden syrup into a saucepan
  4. Add the lemon juice and stir
  5. Turn off the hob
  6. Add the breadcrumbs and stir
  7. Now roll out the dough roll out with a rolling pin
  8. Cover a 9 inch lined baking tin
  9. Bake for 10 mins in an oven at 180 C fan/200 no fan/gas mark 6
  10. Pour the syrup mixture into the baking tin
  11. Put in preheated oven at 160 C fan/180 no fan/gas mark 5 for 15-20 mins
