This resource is aimed at KS4 students taking the Higher paper.
The resource consists of two lessons, each consisting of a presentation and a worksheet. Worked solutions to all questions on the worksheet are included in the presentation. The first lesson looks at applying trig to prisms and the second lesson at applying trig to pyramids.
Before tackling the worksheet, there is a lot of mini white board work asking students to interpret the 3D shapes from 3D drawings and to find a single angle or length.
