A KS3 History lesson that was part of a World War Two SOW. Students investigate whether President Truman was right to drop the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. They look at a variety of sources of evidence including reconstruction videos, witness statements and photographic evidence. The task is completed in groups and and the final activity requires students to come to an overall decision - was Truman right or wrong? Fully resourced.
