Two 'Robot Dreams' Lessons - Science Fiction Unit (Year 9)

These two lessons are part of a Year 9 science fiction unit. The objective is to read ‘Robot Dreams’ and use this as a basis for creative writing in the sci-fi genre. Here is an overview of the lessons:

1. Reading of the short story (including discussion and worksheet on the three laws of robotics, reading short story and various class discussions).
2. Writing based on the short story (including debates around modern technology, dialogue writing skills and warmups and extended dialogue creative writing task).
