Cut and stick shapes in a sequence of separate worksheets to build understanding of how tables work- columns and rows.
Shapes might be fiddly but children could be shown to cut a puddle shape rather than feel they have to cut it exactly.
I’m sure there are lots of resources for this online but I couldn’t find them!
