These sets of worksheets were created after I saw how a Play Therapist worked with some of her children on emotions - encouraging them to learn more about how feelings also affect their minds and bodies.
“What works especially well are the worksheets which have enabled me to support a child who has struggled to understand his triggers, so by using these worksheets (and emotion visuals) has given him greater self-awareness and understanding.” Tara - Specialist Play Therapist.
Children who can accurately feel what is happening inside their body are better equipped to control their emotional responses and behaviours. It enables them to manage “big,” overwhelming emotions before they react, leading to fewer meltdowns.
The worksheets can be used for home education, in play therapy sessions, classroom settings or one-to-one work.
