Autumn Pattern Sheets – Fine Motor & Pattern Copying
This resource is designed for Early Years and Progression Step 1 learners to explore autumn-themed patterns and develop spatial awareness, pattern recognition, and problem-solving using hands-on materials.
What’s included:

1. 3 x a4 Sheets – Recreate Patterns
   Each sheet contains 2 unisex autumn-themed patterns.
   Children recreate the patterns using blocks, counters, or loose parts – no tracing or drawing required.
   Supports fine motor skills, coordination, and concentration.
2. 2 x A4 Cube Pattern Sheets
   Sheets feature line-based cube patterns of varying difficulty.
   Children copy each pattern using uniform blocks, practising sequencing, spatial awareness, and problem-solving.
   Ideal for table-top, small group, or continuous provision activities.
   How to use:
   Provide children with loose parts, blocks, or counters to recreate each pattern.
   Encourage discussion about shapes, colours, and sequences while they copy the designs.
   Great for hands-on exploration, collaborative work, and fine motor development.

   Beth mae’n ei gynnwys:

   Mae pob taflen yn cynnwys 2 batrwm hydrefol annibynnol.
   Mae plant yn ail-greu’r patrymau gan ddefnyddio blociau, counters neu rannau rhydd – dim tracio na lluniadu.
   Cefnogi sgiliau motoriaeth fân, cydsymud a chadw sylw.
4. 2 x Taflenni A4 – Patrymau Blociau
   Mae’r taflenni’n cynnwys patrymau blociau mewn llinellau gyda lefelau anhawster gwahanol.
   Mae plant yn copïo pob patrwm gan ddefnyddio blociau unffurf, gan ymarfer cyfresi, ymwybyddiaeth gofodol a datrys problemau.
   Perffaith ar gyfer gweithgareddau ar fwrdd, grwpiau bach neu ddarpariaeth barhaus.
   Sut i’w ddefnyddio:
   Darparwch blocio neu rannau rhydd i blant er mwyn ail-greu pob patrwm.
   Annog trafodaeth am siapiau, lliwiau a chyfresi wrth iddynt gopïo’r dyluniadau.
   Gweithgaredd gwych ar gyfer archwiliad ymarferol, gwaith cydweithredol a datblygiad motoriaeth fân.
