This Learning aim B: Examine how the main forms of mental ill health are classified consists of 8 powerpoint presentations:

B1 Recognised mental ill-health conditions and their symptoms according to current classification systems (4 lessons).

• Introductory Lesson on the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) and the International Classification of Diseases (ICD), and
• mood disorders (Neurotic disorders - Depression
• psychotic disorders - Schizophrenia
• eating disorders - Anorexia Nervosa

These lessons are linked to the Btec Case Studies and their conditions.
