This is a unit of work which includes 7 lessons about how to use semi-colons, apostrophes for possession, apostrophes for contractions, dialogue and speech marks, and also briefly covering ellipses and exclamation marks. I planned these lessons to teach to my Year 8 class with weak literacy skills, but the lessons could be used for any KS2 or KS3 classes. Has opportunities for live teacher modelling and investigate/ carousel tasks.
