This power point has 23 slides to guide you through Topic Areas 1 and 2 of R032 Principles of Care in Health and Social Care settings. It contains activities such as matching tables and case studies to help understand the rights of service users, the person-centred values and how if these are applied correctly the service user and provider can both benefit. (Revision questions and sample answers now included for Topic Area 1 and Topic Area 2).
The power point directs learners to think, pair and share, take notes independently and enhance their reading skills through case studies. They are encouraged to give specific examples to relate theory to practice.
Handouts are in word format and can be easily adapted to suit own teaching style as can the power point. Answers are provided were necessary.
**Topic Area 3 **a powerpoint (13 slides) now added to guide students through effective communication in settings. Some group activities and tasks to help students understand the methods of communication that can be used, and the importance to service users.
Topic Area 4 just added contains a 17 slide powerpoint to guide you through infection control and safeguarding and safety measures in settings. Activities and case studies included. Answers provided were necessary.
