I downloaded the original powerpoint from this website, and modified it to suit my set2 in yr8. I wanted to insist on clear workings step by step with the balance method. I also wanted to make sure the examples I used followed the build up in their textbook (Collins New Maths Framework). I am deeply grateful to the original author (sorry, didn't save it, so name not on hand), as I wouldn&'t have known how to start the animations on my own: it provided the perfect structure to then build my own lesson.

Very good structure, perfect for my year 8 set 2, even better if you had answers to the differentiated questions. Thanks a lot for sharing

This is a very clear lesson. Thank you very much for sharing it. <br /> Although I couldn't use it because it was too advanced for my Y6 student, I liked it very much and will keep it for a future lesson.
