Introductory lesson to SPAG for year 7. Included is a punctuation chart (this resource is £1 sold separately on my shop) to asses current knowledge and any blanks can be filled in at the end of the lesson.
This PowerPoint will typically take multiple lessons to complete depending on ability level and can be adapted for use in KS2.
The lesson covers commas, apostrophes, brackets/parenthesis, colons and semi-colons with practice for each piece of punctuation included.
Once the activities are completed, students need to write a description of their classroom using a range of punctuation.
