I have created these reading comprehension texts and questions to support UKS2 pupils (Years 5–6) while learning about the Victorians.
The pack includes a range of fiction and non-fiction texts designed to give children varied reading experiences while developing their understanding of life in Victorian Britain. Each text links to key historical knowledge but can also be used as a stand-alone comprehension activity for English lessons.
