The aim of these activities is to develop knowledge on World War One, disperse misconceptions about the conflict and help remember those who fought in the war.
Activities include creative projects, interactive tasks, writing paragraphs and completing quizzes, which can be incorporated into lessons or form a whole lesson. Most of these activities can be completed at home, in case pupils/year groups need to isolate.
Topics covered include why World War One is seen as a global war, the victories of the Harlem Hellfighters, fighting in East Africa and how non-whites were treated after the war.
