Visio Divisio is a standalone HTML maths app designed to develop pupils’ understanding and fluency with division through visual models, interactive slicing and fast-paced number activities.

Simply download the file and open it in a browser. Everything runs locally, with no internet connection required.

The app includes three game modes:

• Slice Grid: pupils choose an appropriate array and slice it into equal sections to model a division calculation visually.

• Slice Numbers Basic: pupils swipe through the correct answer from moving number circles.

• Slice Numbers Basic+ :extends the number-slicing activity with a wider range of division facts.

The app can be used in 1 Player or 2 Player mode. In 2-player mode, pupils can receive the same division question or different questions, making it suitable for paired practice and classroom competition.

Scores are recorded automatically and pupils receive immediate visual feedback for correct and incorrect responses.

Optional timed rounds of 20, 30, 40, 50 or 60 seconds can be used for competitive activities, alongside an unlimited mode. A visual energy bar shows the remaining time and the winner is announced at the end of a timed game.

Visio Divisio is suitable for introducing division, reinforcing equal groups, developing multiplication/division fact fluency, starters, retrieval practice, intervention, revision and whole-class activities.

A full-screen option is included for interactive whiteboards and classroom displays.
