Students measure the different parts of their bodies (sheet 1) and create scatter diagrams to see if there is a correlation. They figure out the averages. I do this on excel (class measurements blank names). I give them this sheet blank for their data and filled in (in case of loss) for plotting. Is anyone in their group the golden ratio? The discussions they have are brillant and parents have given great feedback. Display work is amazing!

An interactive way of investigating averages and scatter graphs. Students are always more engaged when the data comes from something they've created themselves. There is also the option of looking at he golden ratio and plenty of class discussion.
